Jeff
is so thrilled to have been asked to be a part of Milk Products Media
that he thinks he should write a bio for them.
Jeff was born and raised in Kirkland, IL the home of Gene Lamont (look
him up) and an exponentially shrinking gene pool. Times were tough,
and there are no accredited universities in Kirkland, so Jeff packed
a bag and headed for Chicago where he attended The University of Illinois
at Chicago. While completing his studies he discovered his love for
black and white sixteen-millimeter film and minimalistic scoring.
This placed him inevitably in the film/video program. It didn’t
take long before he relised that he hated both of those things, but
being a determined young man he stuck it out and finished his degree.
Too much time drinking and discussing the “organic” nature
of film forced Jeff to try his hand in the world of comedy filmmaking.
He lucked into a job, hosting, at The Second City comedy theatre,
stumbled into a bartending promotion, and eventually cojoled his way
into their fledgling A/V department where he still works today.
This position has allowed him to work with many talented people on
both Second City and independent video projects.
